Velma had lived in the Glenpool and Sapulpa communities virtually all of her life. She was a graduate of Glenpool High School and a member of the Pickett Prairie Baptist Church. She will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted homemaker who loved to sing and play the piano and was very faithful to sing and participate in church services at nursing homes for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Egbert in 1994.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Lynda Wilson and husband Jim, of Kansas City, MO & Bonevie Kelin and husband Bob, of Sapulpa, 1 step-son; Bill Egbert and wife Carol, of Pocatello, Idaho, 1 step-daughter; Shirley Evans and husband Jake, of Kiefer, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and many friends.
