PAMPA - Joan Rae Braxton, 75, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock with the Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Braxton was born Jan. 23, 1935, in Stamford, and was raised in Fort Worth, where she graduated from high school. She married Jim Braxton on Feb. 22, 1958, in Fort Worth.
Survivors include a daughter, Janna Bentley of Pampa; a son, Jim Braxton of The Woodlands; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Interim Hospice, 2217 Perryton Parkway, Pampa, TX 79065.
