Jewell Geffert, 89, died November 16, 2010. She was born December 22, 1920 in Seminole, Oklahoma to the late Claude and Mary Jane Moore.

On November 11, 1939, Jewell married Joseph Anton Geffert. He preceded her in death in August, 1994. A daughter, Jayne Simms, died in April, 1994.

Survivors include: her daughters: Joyce, and husband Roy, Hodgens of Dallas; Joanne, and husband Ed, Chinn of Columbia, Tennessee; and Jeannette, and husband Ron, of Nicholls, Georgia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Jean Jordan, Veva Ford, Wayne Moore, Doyle Moore, Eleanor Skidmore, and Dale Moore.

Services will be at 2:00 pm., Saturday, November 20, at Chalk Hill Assembly of God Church in Chalk Hill, Texas with Ed Chinn officiating.

Burial will follow in Chalk Hill Cemetery.
