James Thomas "Jim" Aaron, age 88, of Queen City, Texas, died Thursday, December 9, 2010 in a local nursing home.

Mr. Aaron was born April 22, 1922 in Texarkana, Arkansas.

He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II and was retired from Carpco Steel. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 672, Elks Lodge BP0E #399 and Hella Shrine Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alice Aaron.

He is survived by two sons; two daughters; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
