ANGOLA - Joseph Foley, 88, Angola, Indiana, formerly of South Bend, Indiana, born July 30, 1922, Boston, MA, passed away November 30, 2010, at Cameron Memorial Hospital, Angola, IN. He was born to Joseph A. and Helen (Cunningham) Foley. He married Barbara (Wall) Foley on October 29, 1944. He was in the Merchant Marines. He was an engineer at Bendix Corp. of South Bend, Indiana, and he retired from Fluor Corp. in California. He graduated from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy of Buzzards Bay, Mass. He is survived by a son, Joseph Foley- Chicago, Illinois; three daughters, Barbara (James) Dyer- N. Franklin, Conn., Kathleen (Kirk) Harmon - Angola, Indiana, and Susan (Steve) Suggs - Vail, Colorado; two sisters, Florence Cunniff - Boston, Mass., and Helen Vaughn - Meredith, New Hampshire; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren His was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara E. (Wall) Foley on June 3, 2006; and by a sister, Marie McCusker. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM Friday, December 3, 2010, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Angola, Indiana Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Angola, Indiana. Officiating will be Father Fred Pasche. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Indiana Memorials in Joseph's name may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Angola, Indiana.
