Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Feemster, pastor of New Covenant Church in Lampasas, officiating. Burial with military rites will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral of Wellington.
Mr. Bearden was born Aug. 28, 1924, in Alma, Ark., to Charlie and Ivan Mae Mitchell Bearden. He married Ruby Brewer on Sept. 18, 1943, in the Midway Community of Collingsworth County.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Elaina Barton of Wellington, Mary Bearden and Connie Feemster, both of Lampasas; two sisters, Hazel Cooper of Las Vegas, and Ruth Damron of Aransas Pass; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
