Louise married William Hodgkiss on 12 Sept 1923 in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. The young couple opened a confectionary shop, but eventually made the move to California that so many of their relatives had. William managed several Safeway Stores. They had a daughter who was much beloved by them. They were a very devoted couple. Louise was my great aunt, and I recall her love of her garden and the welcoming smile and open arms she had for me and my sisters.
