HARRY BRACE GORDON III, 70, died Saturday, December 15, 2001 in Houston. An avid hunter, sportsman and gun collector, Mr. Gordon was the son of the late Harry B. Gordon, Jr. and Tye Blakely Gordon. He attended local schools, TMI in San Antonio and the University of Texas at Austin. He was experienced in the oilfield service and supply industry in southeast Texas and Louisiana. He was a veteran of the Korean war serving in the Air Force Military Police. His many friends will remember his kindness, wonderful sense of humor, love of music and devotion to his family. He is survived by his three children son Harry Brace Gordon IV,Christine "Tina" Davis and Sara "Sally" Gordon Gunn; grandchildren Ella Blakely Gohmert and husband, Herbert, Jonathan Paul Meadows, Emily Elizabeth Massey and Sara Christine Gordon; sister Kathleen "Budine" Gordon Brown and husband, Jean; aunt Elizabeth Gordon de Gerenday and cousins Browne B. Rice, Jr. and Bonnie Blakely Nelms. Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock in the evening on Tuesday, December 18, at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, December 19, 2001 in chapel at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons with Father C.G.Rosaire, Jr. O/OSB officiating. Interment will follow at the Morton Cemetery in Richmond, Texas. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be given to The Hospice at the Texas Medical Center, 1905 Holcombe Blvd.., Houston, Texas 77030
