After her marriage to Robert they lived in Florida, llinois, Maryland, Hawaii and California while he served in the U.S. Navy. While in Hawaii she was a very active Navy wife and served as Treasurer of the Barbers Point Navy Wives club for two years.
Dolores was devoted to family and friends throughout her life. She looked forward to going to Arizona and California for Thanksgiving and Christmas where she enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She was employed at Lockheed Missile and Space Division in Sunnyvale, Calif. for ten years and then with Schlage Electronics for fifteen years, retiring as personnel manager. After Robert's retirement they returned to Oshkosh. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, one brother, one sister, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kathleen Kunde; two brothers, Harold and Robert Veith; three sisters, Sr. Marjorie Veith O.P. Katherine Hutchinson and Carol Selwitschka.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael Catholic Church (830 S. Westhaven Drive) on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at noon with Rev. Douglas LeCaptain, celebrant. Family and friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. to the time of Mass. Private Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.
