WELLINGTON - Charlie Lee Watts, 82, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Huntress and the Rev. Derwin Comer officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home.

Charlie Lee was born Aug. 25, 1928, in Collingsworth County to Leo F. and Alta Summers Watts. He married Tommie Ward on Dec. 16, 1949, in Clovis, N.M.

Charlie was the treasurer of the Skyrocket Booster Club for a longtime. An avid sports fan, he really enjoyed following his children and grand children at their sporting events. He loved to play dominoes.

He had served on the Board of Directors of Farm Bureau for several years. He was a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church.

Charlie Lee was a farmer and rancher.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon and Carroll Wayne Watts.

Survivors include his wife, Tommie; two sons, Nicky Watts and wife Mitzi of Wellington and Danny Watts and wife Tanja of Memphis; a daughter, Melanie Baumgardner and husband Joe of Wellington; a brother, Lester Watts of Amarillo; a sister, Geneva Lowrie of Arlington; nine grandchildren, Robert Watts, Mindi Watts, Misti Landers, Cory Watts, Tasa Watts, Charle Watts, Tate, Caleb and Will Baumgardner; and six great-grandchildren, Lee and Ashley Watts, Yancy and Austin Watts, Mason Lanaders and Dylan Sims.

The family suggests memorials be to Skyrocket Booster Club.
