ABSHIRE, CHRISTINE L. - Passed away November 24, 2010, age 59. Survived by her life partner, Debbie Oldenburg; three sons, Jamie (Amy) Stewart II, Jason (Tracy) Abshire and Rich (Brandi) Hinton; her parents, William and Marilyn (Bullard) Abshire; brother and sisters, Bill Abshire, Nancy (Paul) Doyle, Leslie Bendall, Abbie Abshire, Sally Abshire, Robin (Phil) Furman and Carrie (Marty) Smith; 18 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her family at HVA and other loving family and friends. She has worked for HVA since 1981 as a communications supervisor. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday, December 3, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor James Sirks officiating. Burial Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. www.mem.com www.Mlive.com/obits
