George J. Abair Jr.
Springfield-George J. Abair, Jr., 58, of 66 Pasco Road, died Friday at Mercy Hospital. He was employed at the Indian Orchard Mills for 15 years. He was a lifelong resident of the Indian Orchard section. He was a communicant of the former Saint Aloysius Church. He leaves a sister, Virginia Dumas of Phoenix. The funeral will be Tuesday morning at Grise Funeral Home, with burial in Saint Aloysius Cemetery. Calling hours are prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1111 Elm St.West Springfield, MA 01089

Family Story that was passed down:
At one point, these brothers had a huge Fued; so much so that it caused George to change the spelling of his last name, he wanted No association with the name "Abare". Some time later, the brothers made Peace, Leading them to be buried in Eternal Peace at St. Aloysius Cemetery, sharing a Headstone, lying side by side.
