Obituary: The funeral service for Marvin M. Terrell, 74, who died Monday, November 22, 2010 at his residence, will be conducted Monday, November 29, 2010 at 11:00AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Olive will officiate. Burial will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM (CST) at Equality Methodist Church Cemetery in Equality, AL.
A native of Coosa County, AL, Mr. Terrell had lived in Doerun, GA since 1988, coming from Albany. He enjoyed building, showing his horses and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Tim Terrell (Eva) of Doerun, GA, Colin Terrell of Moultrie, GA, one brother, Allen Terrell (Linda) of Enigma, two sisters Ruby Dean Wareham of New Jersey and Edna Jeanette Butts of Moultrie, GA, seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his dog, "Rat Rat".
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Sunday evening at Mathews Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Tiftarea, 101 West 8th St., Tifton, GA 31794.
