FRESNO: Karol Ann McNamee, Fresno, went to Heaven on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 2:06 a.m. at her home. Born November 29, 1939 in Coshocton, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Irvin and Ruth Catherine (Bagent) Richard. A 1957 graduate of Keene High School, she attended nursing school. Karol had been employed at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital for many years as a respiratory therapist until retiring in 1991. Karol was a member of the Coshocton Nazarene Church. Karol loved living in the country and being outdoors enjoying nature especially the birds. She had been a 4-H advisor, enjoyed raising dairy goats and was known for nurturing various farm animals. On February 3, 1960 she married the love of her life James "Jim" McNamee who preceded her in death on March 22, 1990. Loving family members are a daughter and two sons, Laurie (David) Roderick, Jr. of Warsaw, Brian (Tiffanie) McNamee of Salem, Missouri, James "JR" McNamee II of Fresno; twin grandchildren, Taylor and Lindsay McNamee; a sister, Vioris (Robert) Lautenschleger of Chesterland; a brother, Rev. David (Becky) Richard of Zanesville; a step-sister; step-brothers; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Karol was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Lautenschleger; four brothers, John, Ronnie, Vaughn, Dick Richard; and step-mother, Kathryn Richard. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010, at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with her brother Rev. David Richard officiating. Interment will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends and relatives from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the Free Funeral Home.
