KIRK, Susan C. passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, November 20th in Casa Grande, Arizona. Sue was born on March 19th, 1936 in St. Charles, Michigan to Maude and Charles Griffiths. On March 12th, 1955 in Messiah Lutheran Church, Susan and Paul were married in Bay City, Michigan where they lived and raised their five children who survive her together with her beloved husband, Paul. Her surviving children include: Kim Gosselin of St. Louis, Missouri, David Kirk of Casa Grande, Brenda Balok of Austin, Texas, Kellie Rumpca of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Daniel Kirk of Phoenix, Arizona. Seven cherished grandchildren and one dear great granddaughter also survive Susan. In addition two sisters, Mary Ann Barancik of Casa Grande, and Deborah Yon of Bay City, Michigan survive Susan. She was predeceased by her younger sister, Barbara Calcutt of Bay City, Michigan. Susan was a Cosmetologist and Real Estate Broker who was elected Realtor of the Year by the Bay County Board of Realtors of Bay City, Michigan in 1977. Susan and her loving husband, Paul moved to Casa Grande, Arizona in 1987. There, she worked as a manager for the Cosmetics Department for Walgreens. She also was the manager of the hair salon for J.C. Penney Department Store, and long time manager of the Chaus clothing store, formerly in the Tangier Mall. She also served as a door greeter for Wal-Mart, where all who met her loved her. Susan was an extraordinary designer and hand knitter who loved to create unique, one-of-a-kind sweaters, infant christening gowns, and baby clothes. Susan was a remarkable, loving wife, mother, sister, niece, and friend to many who will cherish her memory for always. Her presence on this earth is already missed greatly, and loved by all.
