Plainview, Texas — Nell Ingram, 88, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 in Plainview.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, November 29, 2010 in the First United Methodist Church Chapel with Rev. Jeff Taylor and Dr. Max Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held from 4-6 pm Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the funeral home.

Nell was born on August 27, 1922 in Matador. She grew up in Flomot and graduated Flomot High School in 1941. She attended Wayland Baptist College and West Texas State College. She married Jack Ingram on March 25, 1943 in Matador. They lived in Clarksville, Tennesee for two years and she moved to Plainview and started working for Montgomery Ward for three years while her husband served in the US Military. She also worked for Franklin Ready To Wear for 12 years. They moved to Dimmitt and farmed for 25 years. They moved back to Plainview in 1991. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Plainview and the Wesley Sunday School Class. Her husband, Jack, passed away on May 10, 2005.

Survivors include one brother: R.G. Morris and his wife Twilla of Petersburg, one sister: Ruby Owen and her husband Homer of Waco and seven nephews and their families.
