Elaine Celia Ackenback passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010 at home in Harbor City surrounded by her family. Elaine was a native of San Pedro, California, born on Wednesday, September 30, 1936. She resided in Groves, Texas for a period of time, then she returned to her native California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Finwick Simon and Vivian Marshall. Elaine is survived by her children, Charlotte Castro and Kim and Lyn Ackenback; her brother, Steve Bacich; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and remembered by her loved ones.
