Victoria T'nya-Ann Carter,20,of 3220 Pridwen Circle, Apt. 202,Raleigh, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2010 in a fatal accident. She was originally from Fayetteville, NC.; a graduate of Enloe High School.

Victoria was a student at East Carolina University with a double major in Business and Marketing and Minor in Communication.
She was a member of BSU; president of BSU's ICON modeling troupe; Secretary of Voices for Victims; Member of Word of Mouth; Member of Emerging New Talent (ENT); (her rap/stage name was Lyrical Seductress);Involved in stop Human Trafficking. She was in the Fall Pledge Class at ECU for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Kappa Sigma Chapter. She aspired to become an entertainment lawyer.

Funeral, 11:00 AM Saturday, November 27, 2010, Antioch Bible Fellowship Church, 2701 Holloway Road. Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens.

Survivors: mother, Bernadette Carter of Raleigh; father, Gerald Carter of Clarkton; sisters, Chan'T'L Carter of Raleigh and Tiffany McLemore of Washington; brother, J'Mario Carter of Raleigh; maternal grandmother, Patricia Smith and maternal grandfather, Rev. Walter E. Smith, Sr. of Fayetteville; paternal grandfather, John H. Carter of Clarkton and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation, Friday, November 26, 2010 6-7 PM, at the funeral home.

NOTE:
An East Carolina University student was killed and three of her fellow sorority pledges were injured in a single car crash. The crash happened about early Saturday morning, November 20, when the car 20-year-old Victoria T'nya-Ann Carter of Raleigh was riding in hit a tree. Carter died at the scene.

Carter and the other women were members of the pledge class for Delta Sigma Theta at East Carolina University.

Her pledge classmate, Briana Latrice Gathers, died Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
The women were driving to a beauty salon in preparation for their "crossing over ceremony" that weekend.
