She was born on May 7, 1929 in Acworth, Georgia to the late Hershel and Annie Lou Culver Gamblin. She was a retired cafeteria manager and a member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Winston.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy Hope and John Cimino.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Herman and Revalee Cimino of Cartersville;son Harry Cimino of Douglasville; daughter Diane Simpson of Douglasville; brothers Donald Gamblin of Palmetto and James Gamblin of Mableton; grandchildren Joseph Cimino, Brian Stanley, Christopher Stanley, John Cimino, Lori Cimino; and 5 Great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville.
