Larry Paul Anderson, 63, of Ft. Oglethorpe, died on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Anderson retired from the U.S. Army where he served during Vietnam and was the recipient of the Purple Heart.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Carri Leigh Anderson and parents, Lawrence and Isabell Beasley Anderson.

Survivors include his wife, Gay Nell Anderson of Ft. Oglethorpe; daughters and sons-in-law, brothers, sister, grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 1:30 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel. Burial will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 22, from 4–8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
