Services were Sept. 19 at the Purse Funeral Home for Frieda E. Haselbeck, 85, of 2369 Gady Rd., Adrian. She died Sept. 15 at the Lenawee County Medical Facility. She resided in Tipton the last nine years until recently.
She was born Aug. 30, 1892 in Gotha, Germany. On Aug. 30, 1924, she married Herman Haselbeck in South Bend. He died in 1959.
She came to South Bend from Germany and became a United States Citizen in 1941. She was a member of the Tipton Community Church.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Max (Virginia) Bailey of Adrian. Three grandchildren, Mrs. Dexter (Virginia Ann) Carrick of Vestaburg, Mich., William Bailey of Kalamazoo and Owen Bailey of Cody, Neb. and several nieces and nephews.
Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
The Rev. Raymond Scribner officiated and burial was in South Bend, Ind.
Memorials may be made to the Tipton Community Church.
