Son of Richard Marion Isaac & Martha Cox Cox. Married,Nellie Amanda Whitted, June 23, 1896 in Putnam Co., IN. Children: Stewart, Elmer, Fred, Clarence "Bob", Mary Louise,Clayton, Marie, Oscar, twins: Maudie & Claudie, Martha Frances, James Franklin, and 2 daughters who died in infancy. Bill farmed all of his life. For several years (1920-1925 and perhaps earlier) he and his 4 oldest sons managed the Sugar Tree farm in Parke County. This land was where the younger children and James were born. This land is now covered by a lake along US Hwy 36.
