PROCK, EMMETT ADWIN Emmett Prock, 78, of La Mesa, passed away on February 22, 2009, after a long battle with prostate cancer. Mr. Prock was born in Competition, Missouri, county seat of Wright County. He is survived by his wife, Carol, daughter Nancy (Samuel) Spaeth, grandsons David, Samuel and Christopher Spaeth, son Charles Alan (Teresa), granddaughter Gracie Prock, great-granddaughter Zoe Spaeth. He leaves behind two other siblings, sister Jeanette Maupin (Robert) and brother Don Prock (Lou Ann). He is also survived by a nephew and many nieces. He is predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Emmett Alford Prock and his sister Syvilla Quintanar. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to: Sharp Healthcare Foundation, 8695 Spectrum Center Blvd., San Diego, CA 92123. Services are pending at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.Edition: FINAL
