James B. Abbott, age 83 of Fayetteville, Georgia, died Saturday, November 1, 2008. Mr. Abbott was the former owner of the A&T Supermarket of Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Cora Harper Abbott, two brothers and one sister. Mr. Abbott is survived his wife of 62 years, Hazel E. Abbott of Fayetteville; daughter, Sandra L. (Charles "Alan") Cornell of Hampton; grandchildren, Brian (Laura Johnson) Cornell of Fayetteville; great-grandchildren, Colby Cornell and Madison Johnson of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.
