Alfred L. Voged, 56, of 204 N. 5th St., died at 6:45 a.m. today. He had been in ill health since January.
The body is in the Snell funeral home where friends may call Friday evening. Funeral arrangements are pending.
Alfred L. Voged, the son of Johannes and Marie Voged, was born March 7, 1899 in Clinton. He lived in Clinton all of his life. On Oct. 23, 1924, he was married to Ann Todsen.
Voged was a conductor for the Chicago North Western railroad, having worked for the railroad since he was 17 years old. He was a member of the Order of Railroad Conductors, the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Chicago and North Western Veteran assoiation, Isaac Walton league and St. Stephen's Lutheran church.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Calvin (Doris) Michaelsen; three grandchilren; one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Hill, all of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was precede in death by his parents, one son in infancy, and two brothers.

Funeral services for Alfred L. Voged, 56, of 204 N. 5th St., who died Thursday, were held at 1:30 p. m. today in Snell funeral home. Rev. Carl Grabemann, of Chancy Lutheran church , officiating. Mrs. Alfred Holgaard was organist and Harold Joens was vocalist. Burial was in Springdale cemetery.
Pallbearers were C. E. Meeks, L. P. Gee, J. W. Sears, S. W. Morris, F. H. Dippo and John Hinrichsen. Other railroad men who were honorary pallbearers were J. L. Mullen, S. W. Delahunty, A. J. Thompson, G. E. Morris, R. L. Edmunds and J. F. Felderman.
