He was born Jan. 2, 1997, in Butte, Mont., the son of Blaine Radenz and Tricia Sparks Radenz. Daniel had just completed the sixth grade locally at Hanna Springs Elementary School.
Survivors include his parents, Major Blaine and Tricia Radenz; two brothers, Zachary and James Radenz; his paternal grandparents, Joe and Patsy Radenz of Cleburne; maternal grandparents, Jim and Paula Sparks of Brownwood; maternal great-grandmothers, Lois Sparks of Horseshoe Bay and Ella Radenz of Thornton; uncle, Jonathan Radenz of Cleburne; aunts and uncles, Jeremy and Kim Bosher of Cleburne, Brian and Amanda Sparks of Tyler and Brian Jordan of New York; several great-aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Joe Radenz and Sam Sparks; his maternal grandmother, Ann Sparks; and his aunt, Becky Sparks.
Funeral services for Daniel Austin Radenz, 12, of Lampasas will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday June 13, at First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Burial will follow at Howard Cemetery in Desdemona. Sneed Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
