JOHN F. WILLIAMS

John F. Williams, 89, former owner of the Williams Grocery Store, died June 29, 1989, in the John Knox Care Center, 600 NW Pryor Road, Lee's Summit, where he lived.
Mr. Williams owned the store in Northwest Kansas City from the early 1920's until he retired in the early 1960's. He was a member and past master of the Northeast Masonic Lodge, a former member of Elyslan Grotto. He was a member of the Budd Park Christian Church.
He was a lifelong area resident. Survivors include one son, Ervin F. Williams, Lee's Summit; a sister, Ola Cobb, St. Joseph; a granddaughter and two great-grandsons.
Services will be at 1p.m. Saturday at the Blackman Guardian Chapel; entombment in Mount Moriah Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Chapel, where Masonic services will be held at 7:00.
