Clayton Edward Bollschweiler 1907 ~ 2007 Clayton Edward Bollschweiler ended his life journey on January 21, 2007 at the home of his daughter, JoAnne Parkes, in Ivins, Utah. He is now happily re-united with his Lord, Jesus Christ, his dear wife, Lenore, and other loved ones waiting for him. Clayton was born on October 1, 1907, to Gustave and Alvina Breyhan Bollschweiler in Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Lenore Potter on March 23, 1927, in the Salt Lake City Temple, and she passed away on November 26, 1977. Clayton married Mabel Kemple on October 24, 1988 and they resided in St. George. Mabel passed away on September 10, 2001. Clay was known as "the Whistler" and entertained many with his unique whistling talents. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church, a loving husband and father, a real gentleman who was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed! Survivors include his daughters, JoAnne Parkes, Ivins, UT, and Colleen (Dick) Wilson, Salt Lake City; brothers, Claude and Wayne; seven grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren and six great-great-grand-children. Preceding him in death were his parents; wives; sister, Minnie Frank; son-in-law, Kenneth Parkes; grandsons, Steven Parkes and David Wilson. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 26, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at the Garner Funeral Home, 1001 11th Ave., Salt Lake City, UT. There will be a viewing Wednesday, January 24, 2007, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, UT. A second viewing will be held Friday, January 26, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the Garner Funeral Home, prior to services there. Interment will take place at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Applegate Hospice for their loving care of Clay. Arrangements are made under the direction of Spilsbury Mortuary,
