Forrest D. BRANDENBURG, 69, 10309 W. 16th Road, Argos, died at 7:07 p.m. Thursday at Woodlawn Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sept. 23, following knee surgery.
Born in Detroit to Jacob "Earl" and Mable Christine WHEARLEY BRANDENBURG, he married Mary Louise ENGLISH on Sept. 16, 1951 in Crawfordsville. She survives.
He moved to the Rochester area 42 years ago. He was an over-the-road truck driver. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local No. 364, South Bend. He was a member of First Christian Church and attended Faith Outreach Center.
Survivors include his wife, at home; two daughters, Cheryl Sue MIDDLETON and husband, Ted, Argos, Linda G. STUTZMAN and husband Rick, Chattanooga, Tenn.; four sons, Gene [BRANDENBURG] and wife Becky, David [BRANDENBURG] and wife Sherri and Howard [BRANDENBURG] and wife Dorothy, Rochester, and Keith [BRANDENBURG], Argos; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; one sister Lois STEVENSON, Lansing, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant granddaughters, Renee and Kristi STUTZMAN.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Monday at Foster & Good funeral Home with Rev. Dan MUNDT officiating. Burial will be in Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services on Monday.
