Hazel B. WINTERROWD 87, 307 East Main St. Mentone, and formerly of 4340 East Indiana 14, Rochester, died at 1:35 a.m Friday at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born in Argos to Harley and Ocie SWIHART GARNER. On Oct. 22, 1932, in Winamac, she married George G. WINTERROWD who died Jan. 24, 1987.
She was a homemaker and former Hart, Schaffner & Marx Corp. employee. She moved to Rochester from South Bend in 1945 and lived here until moving to Mentone a year ago.
Surviving are one daughter, Jacksie REIKEN and her husband James, Mentone; four sons. Robert K. and his wife Karen [WINTERROWD], Rochester; Ronald J. and his wife Martha [WINTERROWD], Rochester; Garry J. [WINTERROWD], Fort Wayne, and Robin L. [WINTERROWD], Warsaw; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceding in death arc one sister, Mabel IRWIN and two brothers, Merritt [GARNER] and Jack GARNER.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster and Good Funeral Home. with the Rev. Junior BOSE officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Friend may call from 3-8 p.m. Monday and two housr before the services Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
