Robert 'Ted' Harris

Robert "Ted" HARRIS, 69, Rochester, died at 2:25 p.m. at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Born in Marion, Ohio to Dewey D. and Cecile L. BAKER HARRIS, he married Josephine M. CARPENTER on Jan. 12, 1945 in Lakeview, Ohio. She survives.
He retired as a carpenter from Culver Military Academy. He had lived in Culver for 20 years, having come from Russells Point, Ohio. He moved to Rochester one year ago. He was a member of the Father's Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Culver.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. John (Kathy) BURKE, Everett, Wash., Mrs. Stanley (Virginia) LECTATSAS, Rochester, Mrs. Panl (Cindy) EDEL, Bourbon, Mrs. Gary (Kimberly) BRAASCH, Fairmount; three sons, Michael HARRIS, Columbus, Ohio, Mr. John HARRIS, Rochester, USMC,, Chief Warrant Officer James HARRIS and his wife Betsy HARRIS, Oceanside, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Cecile HARRIS, Russells Point, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, two grandsons, two granddaughters, one sister Betty BEATTLEY and one brother William HARRIS.
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with Revs. Steve FLECK and Jerry MITCHELL officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Rochester. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. Saturday through the hour of services.
