Theodore was born on 22 October 1840 at St Anselme, Dorchester, Quebec, Canada to Jean Etienne Corriveau and Marguerite Couture. He married Marie Luce Celestine Provost on 9 May 1871 at Notre Dame Auxiatrice, Buckland, Bellechasse, Quebec, Canada. They had seventeen children of which eleven lived to adulthood; Marie Celestine Aurelie, Marie Anne Celestine, Joseph Charles Theodore, Marie Leontine, Marie Josephine, Marie Belzemire, Joseph Jean Baptiste, George Pierre Herninegelde, Pierre Emile, Adele Octavie and Marie Anne.
Theodore was a farmer and would plant his fields in the spring and with the older children, he would head south to work in the cotton mills of Amesbury Massachusetts. There they would work until harvest time.
Theodore died on 19 October 1915 at his farm in Buckland, Bellechasse, Quebec, Canada. He was buried on 21 October (the day before his 75th birthday)1915 at Notre Dame Auxiliatrice, Buckland, Bellechasse, Quebec, Canada. He was survived by his wife and the eleven children named above along with many grandchildren.
