Funeral services for Forrest Cole were held at 2.00 p.m. Sunday, Feb 12, 1978 in the Hazel Dell Baptist Church, with Rev. Raymond Petitt of El Reno officiating..
Mr. Cole was born Sept. 6, 1895 at Baird, Texas and died Thursday, Feb. 9, 1978 at his home 1804 Cottonwood, Ardmore, Okla.
He was a deacon and member of Northwest Baptist Church of Ardmore and was a retired farmer and electrician. Prior to moving to Ardmore in 1973 he lived in the Cogar, Hazel Dell and Minco area. He married on April 10, 1918 to Gladys Marty.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys of the home; a daughter, Evelyn Davidson Ardmore; three brothers Tom Cole, El Paso; Oren Cole, Sapulpa; Oreos Cole, Norman; and four grandchildren and one great grandson.
