Philip, 54, St. Marys, died at 6:05 a.m., at University Hospital.
He was a son to John and Myrtle (Tracy) Dodds. His mother survives in Bellefontaine. On Oct 12, 1985, he married Peggy Voland, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Megan (Michael) Beebe, Meredith Dodds and Mallory Dodds, all of St. Marys; seven brothers, John (Jo), St. Marys, Denzil (Kay), Houston, TX, Myron (Joan), Lima, Michael (Carlotta), Jackson Center, Patrick (Sharon), Bellefontaine, David (Deanna), Jackson Center, and Aaron (Deanece), Lakeview; a sister, Molly Shroyer, Wapakoneta; and two grandchildren.
He was a 1974 graduate of Indian Lake High School. He also attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He was a financial planner with Money Concepts. He was a member of the New Community Church in St. Marys.
Funeral services are at the Nazarene District Center, St. Marys, the Rev. Thomas Schwind, officiating.
