After suffering the physical deterioration caused by too many birthdays, Lawrence Victor Robinson left us for a better home. Larry was born in Stella Nebraska January
14th 1917. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union, and retired from the Dunes Hotel.
He attended MSOE Milwaukee school of engineering, after word becoming proficient in his welding. In the 1940's his work took him to So. California, this is where he met and married Elizabeth "Bettie" Brown. To this union three children were born. They then moved to Beryl Utah where he built a house on a 55 acre piece of land, this was home, and he farmed it until the 1960's when he gathered the family and moved to Las Vegas NV. Where he worked at the Test site.
In the 1970's he met Lois Fisher at a dance and later married. They enjoyed their cabin in Pine Valley for many years
He had a love for music and singing. He belonged to S.P.E.B.S.O.S.A Barbershoppers the "GambleAires" in Las Vegas Nv. Where he sang with these gentleman for 30 years.
He also belonged to the Masonic Lodge for 70 plus years and the Scottish rite and Shriners where he rode his mini bike in many parades.
A person's achievements or the impact he or she has on others is never actually measured until he or she has said goodbye.
The memories of his many stories he told, the music he made, the recipes he cooked, his sense of humor, the
lessons he instilled in his children will remain in our hearts.
The family would like to express their appreciation to all of
the staff at Kolob Regional care and Rehab Center in Cedar City. You have been most compassionate and accommodating all the way from the Laundry, Kitchen, CNA's to the Nurses. Also the Hospice Aliance Team, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
