James Studley died Wednesday at the Veterans Hospital in Buffalo.

BATAVIA DAILY , October 16, 1975:
J. A. Studley, 87, of Miller Road, Silver Springs; retired Chief Warrant Officer of the US Navy prior to retirement from service in 1964, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 1975. He was born in Greece, December 1, 1887 the son of John and Anna Hefferman Studley. Survived by his spouse, Evelyn Waite Studley and son James J. Studley, two grandchildren. Funeral services at Weeks Funeral Home, Warsaw with internment in North Gainesville Cemetery.
