Obituary
Etta Idell Barber was born January 18, 1873 at Grant City, Worth County, Missouri, and departed from this life April 22, 1934 at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 4 days.
She grew to young womanhood in Missouri, later moving to Kansas where she was united in marriage to Theodore Ford. To this union one child was born. She moved to Oklahoma and was married to William Monroe Brown, at Muskogee, in 1893. To this union 10 children were born, three of them passing to the great beyond in infancy.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, W. M. Brown of Chickasha, Okla.; her seven children, J.O. Brown of Melrose, N. Mexico, R.A. And F.E. Brown of Chickasha, Mrs. Floyd Warren of Chickasha, Mrs. Melvin Williams of Gline, Colo.;
Mrs. Ward Green of Vista, Calif., Mrs. Frank Willet of Minco; her stepfather, Calvin Mohler of Bartlesville. Okla.' a half brother, Frank Mohler of Cogar, Okla.; 16 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was converted and united with the Baptist church in 1906, and was a faithful wife, true mother, and a good neighbor.
Funeral services were held at the Hazel Dell church by Rev. J.J. McDaniel. Interment was made in the Hazel Dell cemetery---A Friend
