Mary Brayman (Forrest) Aikin, daughter of Mrs. L. D. Brayman of this village died at state hospital in Buffalo, Monday, August 3, 1908 after a brief illiness with pneumonia.
Mary Brayman was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Brayman, born in *Greenwood, NY, 47 years ago.
When she was 19 the family removed to this village and a few years later she was united in marriage to Forrest W. Aikin of Rushford. They resided here for several years then moved to Buffalo and that has been their home since.
Beside her husband and mother; Mrs. Aikin is survived by two sons, Berne, who makes his home with his grandmother in Silver Springs; Lee, who lives with his father in Buffalo; one brother, Elmer Brayman of Buffalo.
The remains were brought here on Wednesday morning and taken to the home of her mother on North Main Street. The funeral was held at the home Thursday moring with Rev. L. L. Rogers officiating, burial was in the Bush Cemetery, Silver Springs.
