William A. (Bill) Leet, 49, Johnson Lake. Neb., was born to Delbert and
Evelyn Barker Leet Nov. 20. 1947. at Clarinda. He died Aug. 24. 1997, as the
result of a truck-pedestrian collision four miles west of Overton, Neb.; on
Interstate 80. He attended Coming schools before moving to Millard. Neb. He was a 1965
graduate of Millard High School. He was married to Mary Kay Holoubeck in Kearney. Neb.. Jan. 21, 1968, and the couple lived in Omaha. After attending Ottawa University, he graduated
from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's College of Pharmacy in 1972. He worked in Kearney as a pharmacist at Good Samaritan Hospital for a time before returning to Omaha to complete pharmacy school. He received a doctorate in pharmacy in 1982. After living in Wharton, Texas, he moved to Johnson Lake in March. He had worked at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington and March. He had worked at Tri-Valley Hospital in Cambridge, Neb. Mr. Leet was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and numerous professional pharmacy organizations. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Frank. Survivors Include his wife; son Christopher, Austin, Texas and sister Francis Leet,. Florence, S.C. Services were held Aug. 28 at Faith United Methodist Church in Kearney with the Rev. C.J. Willis officiating. The eulogy was presented by his sister Francis. Burial was at Kearney Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tom Leet. Quinton Lange, Forrest Holoubeck, Ddvid Barker, Kevin Barker and Lonnie Barker. Mr. Leet was a grandson of the late Bill and Mary Barker of Corning.
