WINSTON-SALEM - Edna Acker, the beloved daughter of the late Clarence and India Bailey Harmon departed this earth to be with the Lord on 31 October, 2010 after battling a long illness. Cherishing Edna's memory is her brother Leonard (Louise) Harmon, sister Francis Felton, two daughters: Barbara (Lesley) Johnson, India (Darren) Cook, two Sons: Raymond (Denise) Harmon, Thomas Harmon, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved her dearly. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 5, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. from St. Peter's World Outreach Center, with Bishop James C. Hash officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.to 11:30 a.m., at the church Friday.
