New Lexington – Goldie K. Poulton, 95, of Harrison, Mich. Died at 4:35 a.m. Saturday, Dec 1, 1990 in Clare, Mich. Following a long illness.
Mrs. Poulton was a retired teacher in the Perry County school system, a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Lexington, a member and past matron of Carnation Chapter 167 OES and a member of the state and national branches of the Retired Teachers Association.
She was born Feb. 27, 1895 in New Straitsville to John and Lovina (Mitchell) Call.
Mrs. Poulton was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Poulton, in 1947 and one son, William Poulton.
She is survived by one son Richard L. Poulton of Harrison, Mich., one grandchild, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Roberts Funeral Home in New Lexington where Eastern Star services will be held at 7 p.m.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Gerald Yinger officiating.
Burial will be in the New Lexington Cemetery.
