Jane was the daughter of William and Margaret (Cramp) Beideman. Jane Ann married Edward Smith Powell. They farmed their farm for 35 years which bordered the Delaware River and was called Pyne Point. The remains of their house still stand. It was built at the end of the 17th century by Joseph Cooper, son of the first settler in Camden. Their children were: William, Belin, Edward, Casper, Margaret, Thomas, Christopher (buried here), Henry, Samuel, Charles, Benjamin, and Frank (buried here). In 1900 Jane Ann was living with her son Frank H. Powell in Camden.
