Funeral services for Olin Everett Brown age 90 of Reeds Spring, Missouri will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Sanctuary Of Hope Church in Branson with Pastor Sam Kaunley officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 PM in the Smith Cemetery in Alton, Missouri under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson, Mo.

He passed away on October 30, 2010 at his home.

He served in the U.S. Navy in the original 3rd Special Batallion of the Seabees in the South Pacific Theatre of WWII from November 19, 1942 until his discharge on November 19, 1945. During the war he served in places such as Guatal Canal and Okinawa and achieved the rank of Coxswain First Class. He attended Southwestern Assemblies of God College in Waxahatchie, Texas and Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo. He and Sister Brown pastored outstations during college and 5 churches, one of which Ruskin Assemblies Of God they pioneered and pastored for 25 years. The also served as Dean of Married Students at Jimmy Swaggart Bible College. Their pubic ministry lasted over 50 years and it's effects will never end.

Survivors are his wife of 69 years, Lillie Fern Brown of the home. Two sons: Dr. Olin Michael Brown and his wife, Karen of Spokane, Missouri. Dr. James David Brown and his wife, Paula of New Virginia, Iowa, 8 Grandchildren, Courtney Marie Ragusa, Lance Michael Brown, Tiffany Michelle Brown, Rachel Rachelle Brown, Shiloh Austin Brown, Luke Clinton Brown, Daniel Wayne Brown and Rebeckah Renee Brown and 3 great grandchildren: Pete, Angelina and Isaiah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant daughter; Joy Yvonne Brown.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:30 Tuesday in the funeral home.
