MOUNT VERNON - Kathy Ann Wagner-Hobbs, 45, of Mount Vernon, died at her home on July 23, 2008. She was born on March 6, 1963, in Evansville, the daughter of John and Dorita (Fisher) Logan. Kathy had enjoyed working as a Registered Nurse at several area hospitals and nursing homes. Kathy was looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild. She is survived by her husband, John Hobbs, a daughter, Katelyn Hobbs, and two sons, Branden Wagner and Corey Hobbs, all of Mount Vernon; her father; John Logan of New Harmony; two sisters, Jackie (Mike) Baxter of Mount Vernon and Linda (Steve) Butler of Wadesville; a half-sister, Cheryl (Matt) Diedrich of Hogansville, Georgia: and a step-sister, Melissa Swain of Grayville, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Wagner; her mother, Dorita (Fisher) Logan; and a sister, Cynthia Powell. Funeral services 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Austin Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, with the Reverend Dallas Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
