Mr. Harvey is survived by his wife, Joanne Landis Harvey of the home; three children, Audrey Harvey Baird of Carrollton, GA, Earl Harvey, Jr. and wife Lisa of Dallas, TX and Clifford Dale Harvey and wife Jane of Brownsberg, IN; four stepchildren, Marie Morris and husband Bill Sproul of Asheville, Elizabeth Morris Ross and husband Bill of Marion, Ruth Morris Clayton and husband George of Greenville, SC and Rachel Morris Friel and husband Brian of San Francisco, CA; five grandchildren, five step grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Marion with Rev. Scott Hagaman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church. Interment will be in McDowell Memorial Park. The US Army from Fort Bragg, NC will provide military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Youth Summer Mission Trip, c/o First Baptist Church of Marion, 99 N. Main St., Marion, N. C. 28752 or Parkinson's Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163.
