Daughter of Harvey and Florence Shaffer Bailey. She was proceed in death by a sister Lillian B. Hall; and brothers Kenneth, Donald, and Blake Bailey.Mildred managed the Independence Co-Op in her early days and worked at the Glenn L. Martin Plant in Baltimore during WWII. She was a charter member of Independence Baptist Church and active in the organization that promoted the Old Fashion Watermelon Days in Independence. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. A great lady that lived to be 102.
