She has no headstone, but is buried next to her parents in Section 4, lot 111. Her husband, Jay is also buried in Oak Grove, but in another section. Her daughter Gladys spent most of her time as a child with her relatives, the Nashes, so Ida must have been ill for quite some time. They said she suffered from “nervous disease”. She died in Hillsdale, MI of acute eutero colitis, and her funeral was at the same location as her wedding…at the home of OC Nash.
