Charles R. Doutt, son of Andrew and Lydia Hogue Doutt, married Pauline Beck, was a storekeeper, lived at 414 Rocky Grove Ave, died there of cancer of larynx and generalized arteriosclerosis, per death certificate 113177, whose informant was his wife. Buried Dec 24 1956.

Charles R. Doutt, 80, died at 4:30 an today at home, 414 Rocky Grove Avenue, after an illness of about a year. He was born in Polk March 17, 1876, son of Andrew and Lydia Hogue Doutt.

He attended Polk schools and was awarded a penmanship scholarship at Allegheny College in Meadville, of which he was a graduate. He and his wife operated the Polka Dot Inn at Polk from 1925 to 1947, and for the past 7 years operated Doutt's Dairy Store in Rocky Grove.

On April 31, 1917 in Fostoria, OH, he married Pauline Black, who survives, with a son, Charles A. Doutt of Rocky Grove Avenue; a brother and sister, Harve Doutt and Mrs. Emma Stopp of Cochranton; and 3 grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 am Monday at Gabrys Brothers Funeral Home with Father John A. Kirk of St. Patrick's Church officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
