Mrs. Mary M. Minter, widow of Granville J. Minter, died June 26th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Slaydon of Leatherwood.
Her husband was Mr. Granville J. Minter, a Confederate Veteran, and for a number of years, Supervisor of his District.
Mrs. Minter is survived by the following children: W. O. Minter, J. D. Minter, Mrs. I. M. Groves, Mrs. J. W. Burch, all of Martinsville, and Thos. G. Minter of Leatherwood, Mrs. Jno. Bondurant of Snow Creek and Mrs. Jno. Slaydon of Snow Creek.
She was laid to rest in the family burying ground by the side of her husband.
