Mrs. Jacob Eicher celebrated her 90th birthday Friday and she was entertained at a family dinner that evening at the home her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Tschantz, 1205 12th street NE.
Mrs. Eicher had 12 children 10 of whom are living; 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was born in Cantonberg, Switzerland in 1840 and came to this country in 1860. She was married August 15, 1863, and has lived since that time in Stark county. All of her children and grandchildren were present at the party.
She received many gifts and tokens of congratulations.

Mrs. Susanna Eicher, 94, widow of Jacob Eicher and a resident of Canton for 60 years, died Saturday afternoon in the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. L. Heibner, 1628 Woodland avenue NW.
A native of Switzerland, she came to this country at the age of 19 and resided for some time at Stonecreek before coming to Canton. She was active in the affairs of the First Reformed church.
Besides Mrs. Heibner, six other daughters survive. They are Mrs. H. P. Frantz and Mrs. George M. Kauffman of Cleveland, Mrs. Moser Gear, Mrs. Charles Myers and Mrs. John Tschantz of Canton and Mrs. Peter Gettle of Dover; three sons, John J. and E. J. Eicher of Canton and Al Eicher of Canal Fulton; a brother, Rudy Indermille of Fort Dodge, IA., and 18 grandchildren. The body is at the Seesholtz funeral home pending burial arrangements.
